Quest Events Welcomes New President & COO

FRISCO, TX, FEBRUARY 12, 2018– Quest Events announced today that Al Dyess has been named President & Chief Operating Officer effective February 1, 2018.

“The naming of a Chief Operating Officer comes at a time when our business is at its strongest. With the addition of Al Dyess to our Executive Team; we will continue to advance our strategy internally while in tandem managing the dynamic and challenging landscape of the industry.” said Lee Dunlap, Quest Events Founder & CEO.

Dunlap added, “The addition of a President/COO will also enable the current Executive Team to spend more time focusing on the company’s long term strategic direction, ensuring continued growth and productivity within our 24 markets across the US. We will be engaging even more with our clients and industry leaders on key issues facing the future of the Audio Visual, Corporate, Production, and Social Event arms of the business from an executive level.”

Al Dyess most recently served as Chief Executive Officer of Production Resource Group’s Corporate and Events division with locations throughout North America and Europe. Prior to his current role, Dyess served as Chief Sales Officer of the same group for two years.

Over the course of his career Dyess has held a number of senior leadership positions across a range of businesses and geographies. Prior to the acquisition of Hi-Tech Rental & Staging by PRG, he served as the President of the regionally based premium provider of audiovisual and staging solutions. As a precursor to joining Hi-Tech, he served for over 19 years in various capacities with Global Experience Specialists (GES), most recently as Executive Vice President, City Operations, based in Las Vegas. Prior to that, Dyess held various roles including several general manager positions, Regional VP and other positions within the company.
