Industry Veteran to Lead Company’s Global and Strategic Growth Initiatives
DALLAS, TX (April 2, 2019) – Quest Events, (“Quest” or the “company”), the nation’s premier rental solution for pipe and drape, scenic backdrops and special occasion furnishings, today announced the appointment of Al Dyess to chief executive officer of Quest Events, effective April 2, 2019. Lee Dunlap, Quest Events’ founder, has stepped down from his role as chief executive officer and has been named as the company’s Chairman.

Dyess joined Quest Events in 2018 as the company’s chief operating officer and president bringing over 30 years of experience in the exhibition, A/V and events industry to the leadership team. Prior to joining Quest Events, Dyess served as chief executive officer of the corporate and events group at Production Resource Group (PRG). During his 18-year tenure at GES, he served in a variety of senior leadership roles including executive vice president of city operations for GES where he was instrumental in driving operational efficiencies across the company’s nationwide network.
